Serafina was established in 1995 when owners Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato opened the first Serafina Fabulous Pizza on 79th Street on the Upper East Side in New York City.
Serafina’s unique combination of a casual-cool setting, charming service, and its creative twist on homestyle Italian fare has kept both locals and a celebrity-studded clientele coming back for more. Brasserie Cognac de Monsieur Ballon opened it’s first location in April 2008. The duo brought their love for French culture and cuisine to New York City and gave the Big Apple an authentic slice of such, with a brasserie style menu combining French classics with modern creations. Pizza Funhouse is the latest culinary concept from Serafina Restaurant Group. This new, casual restaurant is a celebration of decades of old, deeply inspired by Fabio and Vittorio’s core American pop-culture memories from their childhood in Italy. Brightly colored geometric Googie-style interiors are the vibrant background to the American menu, with a focus on the classic American Pizza style by the slice and whole pies, elevated with their pioneering pre-fermented dough.
